A local native from Devon, PA, Dr. Schelling is a Rice University undergraduate with a master’s degree from the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Georgia. He received his veterinary doctorate degree from the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Veterinary Medicine, where he returned after a year of equine practice, to complete his residency and board certification in radiology. After a one-year faculty position, Dr. Schelling brought ultrasound, CT and MRI imaging technology into the private sector and was one of the first radiology specialists to serve the needs of veterinarians in private practice. His experience includes more than 110,000 thoracic and abdominal ultrasound studies and 6,700 ultrasound guided biopsies. The integration of imaging, ultrasounds, CT scans, and MRIs into diagnosis and treatment has been the hallmark of his practice for 25 years.
