Dr. Lebel grew up in Quebec City and earned her veterinary medical degree at Faculté de Médecine Vétérinaire de L’Université de Montréal (University of Montreal). She completed a rotating internship at the VEC (Veterinary Emergency Clinic and Referral Center) in Toronto, then worked as an emergency/general practitioner at the Centre Vétérinaire Laval in Quebec. Dr. Lebel chose emergency medicine because it gives her an opportunity to treat a variety of conditions in a lot of different fields within veterinary medicine. She also likes to help people who are going through an emergency with their pet. Dr. Lebel likes music, traveling and spending time with her friends, and stays active by running, swimming, snowboarding and practicing yoga. She has a Boston Terrier name Henri and a cat named Edouard and is fluent in French and English.
